I've never read many of Sparks's books - I find the writing amateurish and simple, the characters one dimensional and the plot's reused time and time again - somehow though they lend themselves to good screenplays...but any way this is the last Spark's book I will ever read. I picked it up from the library (thank God I didn't invest actual money into the thing) and couldn't get past the first 20 pages. Absurd characters, boring plot and above all uninteresting, uninspired writing.

I think this was the worst book I've ever read. Absolutely nothing new or exciting in it - not sure why I finished it.

Definitely one of my fav Nicholas Sparks books!! Loved it so much!!

If you like Nicholas Sparks, you will like this one. I am a big fan and like his easy style of writing. Always up for another tear-jerker.

He sure knows how to write love stories. I first I thought it was going to be predicatable but then part two was a complete change! Im not really sure if i liked the ending or not. Overall a pretty good book and an easy read.
