This book is a good post apocalyptic comedy in this first volume. I really enjoyed the characterizations. My biggest gripe with the book is that the T&A that’s present is a tad excessive. Yes, I get that the protagonist is a horny mid 20-something. That doesn’t necessarily excuse it. That said, the second female character introduced who seems to be the female lead is given some good material compared to the first one. The premise of a guy coming to really start enjoying life after a zombie apocalypse is quite entertaining. Will stick with the series.

The T&A in this book is pretty comparable to your average R-Rated comedy but it still feels extraneous to the core plot. If you can look past that or you don’t mind that, you can have some fun with this book. Anyone with issues with that sort of content, stay away as you probably don’t even like the types of movies and shows that this book is riffing on.
