This was so good. We learn so much more about Violet's early family life which is so helpful. I think it's finally dawning on Violet how much Doc loves her and her kids. I hope this builds her confidence. I'm also loving the Natalie and Cooper storyline. I have no clue if they will get together or how it will play out but it's really interesting. I'm looking forward to many more books in this series.

It's Christmas Eve and Violet is in Deadwood while her children are in Rapid City with her parents. She's determined to get there before December 25 but a blizzard has blown in that could keep her from her kids and might very well ruin Christmas.

The whole gang including Elvis the chicken have piled into her Honda and are determined to cross that mountain come hell or high-water.

What an absolute hoot. There isn't all that much to Don't Let it Snow in Deadwood. There doesn't need to be. It's comic brilliance and charming characters in spades. I don't need anything else.

Please note; my star rating on any book is completely subjective and limited to the label for each star.

1 Star I didn’t like it
2 Stars It was okay
3 Stars I liked it
4 Stars I really liked it
5 Stars It was amazing!

If I do actually have something to say about a book other than what my enjoyment factor was, I will write a review and share my thoughts. If I say I didn’t like a book but there wasn’t anything about it that I thought needed to be shared, then that’s it, I just didn’t like it.

If you’d like to start a discussion about a book or you’d like an actual review, ask any question you like and I’ll be happy to try and comply/respond.

Additional note; I do not feed the trolls. If you don’t have something constructive to say, or if you can’t say it in a respectful way, you won’t get a response from me. Ever.

I’m confused about all the high ratings for this book. I’m also confused about how this is considered a full book. Are all the authors stories like this? Just as an actual mystery happens the book ends and the author writes “the end...for now.” Literally mid story. I’m not even interested enough to find out where the story goes in the next book. Thanks but no thanks. Hard pass.

Actual rating: 2.5 stars.

Ugh.

Violet Parker acting like a whiny brat who can't let go of the past + worst Christmas-themed sexual innuendo ever (you don't want to know) + bad puns all around + yawwwwwnnnnnn =
