When long time friend from fat camp dies and leaves Marley and Georgia a bucket list of things to do that they made as teenagers longing to live a 'normal thin' life will they do it or will they always be tied to their 'fat' body image? Will they be able to live 'normal' lives and find love? A story of learning to be confident as you are and not waiting for 'perfect' you.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc for my honest review.

Good Luck with That is one of the most powerful books I’ve read in a long time. It is sweet and sad and empowering. It touches on a subject we all deal with to some degree and encourages us to do what we can to learn not to judge ourselves and others so harshly and just maybe learn to love and accept ourselves flaws and all. I encourage everyone to read this.

The author of this book made me angry and it had nothing to do with the subject matter. While the story itself was ok, I felt insulted by the number of times the author found it necessary to repeat things. It would have been much better if the reader was credited with some intelligence and instead of the repetition, the story and characters in it were developed further.

This was a hard book but I liked it despite a lot of the issues it brought up and have a lot of respect for it. A great friendship story with nice romances and serious issues tackled.

What Can I say!! I love, love, a million times loved this book. It has changed my life. I have seen my plus size self in a new way because of this book. I have loved Kristan Higgins books since I got a copy of "Catch of the Day" at my local library. I have anticipated and looked forward to each and every new release day. Devoured the books not only once, but multiple times. "Good Luck With That" will be the same. I cried with Emerson, Georgia, and Marley. I related so much with everything the three woman thought and acted. It was as if I was looking at myself, over and over again. Everyone needs to read this book!!

4.5 stars. Really enjoy this author’s writing style. She really dives into the characters and gives a great storyline. I never thought a book surrounding obesity, eating disorders, and body image would really hold my interest.
