it’s 3 in the morning and i’m crying in bed and my heart hurts and i’m nothing but an empty shell of a human

This was very similar to Speak, but lacked something.

This was pretty explicit in many places that it didn't have to be - maybe the author did that to make it more appealing to young people.

I am all in favor of helping people, especially teens, learn about rape and what it can do to someone, and if this book helps anybody done their voice, then it is a huge success. I just wasn't a fan of all the chapters of teenage rebellion that seemed was more detailed than they needed to be. In my opinion, Speak treats this subject much better than this book did, but I'm glad this book exists because it will doubtlessly reach someone that needs it in a way that nothing else can for that individual

I have no idea what to rate this book… I probably just won’t

This was a blind read.. no recommendations, no advertisements just a blind pick from my list.

And it was certainly a very interesting book. The writer takes you through a narrative of trauma, triggers and a butterfly effect.I found myself crying out the main character and wanting to speak for her.

Words hold so much importance in life and often we forget to give silence so those words can be shared.@ambersmithauthor

This book completely wrecked me. I felt like I was in Eden’s head as she goes through these internal battles because she keeps doing and saying all the wrong things. Eden wants to act like everything is good but she just keeps messing everything up. And she is so tired of trying, which is devastating. Overall, an amazing read that is beautifully structured

books like this are the ones that stick with me the hardest. devastating, heartbreaking, and realistic story that i can’t shake off. like oh my god i must’ve cried at least ten times while reading because of how this book broke me.

also some of the bits with josh had me blushing and kicking my feet so i am placing an order for the next book ASAP ❤️‍
