Majesty and Josiah are fraught with tension and hurt feelings, but you would expect that since they've been broken up for six months. I absolutely loved the way Majesty stood up for herself, claimed a new life and had no qualms about walking away. Her ability to compartmentalize Webb like she did surprised me. But that could just be because I've never been able to do it, lol. Anyway, Josiah realizing that he needed to switch up his game made me proud of him, and I do love when lovers get back together.

This was so cute. I find it mad wild that men don’t act right until the woman leaves. But Josiah knew all along what he needed to do, he just chose not to and Majesty left. I’m glad he finally got it in his head.

majesty was a headstrong and confident woman who knew exactly what she did and didn’t want and was not abt to settle for less, no matter who it was. and she was not going to let josiah get away with his antics- giving her less than she deserved- and i was here for it
it took josiah’s silly stubborn self a while to rly understand where maj was coming from but when he did he committed to getting her back throughout the WHOLE book and wasn’t letting up. i mean this man was groveling for his life and i loved it. and he wasn’t just blowing smoke either. he talked that talk and made sure his actions backed it up
this was a story of a man begging and pleading at the knees of his woman to give him a second chance and it was great😙🤌🏾. ofc i ate it up

Josiah really came with that energy in this book. I enjoyed seeing him realize that he really needed to change his ways in order to get Majesty back and the actions he took to do that. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series as they come out.
