2.5. I felt like because it was so short, it jumped right in with not much character development to want me to continue.

Brief, quick read; I fully expected this to be primarily smut, and the sex scenes were less explicit than I anticipated, but I loved getting a quick look at Majesty and Josiah's relationship; explosive types of relationships are kind of my favorite to read about, so I wouldn't have minded getting to see when they were together if the author ever wrote a novella around them that took place before this one.

10/10 for Josiah properly apologizing and making it up to Majesty, as well as showing her that he was going to make the necessary changes rather than just expecting her to trust him. I love that I never doubted their care for one another (as the focus of this seemed to center more around their emotions than it did their physical relationship) and that Josiah finally understood what Majesty had been asking for.

Can't wait to read more from this author!

I really liked this book. I think the relationship between Majesty and Webb was electric and the chemistry was really good. I wanted them to fight a bit more before they made up, but I think he really listened to her complaints on why their relationship didn't last. I loved that he actively went out to change his behavior and validate her concerns, even if it took losing her to get them across.

Ok

It was okay and gave what it could for a short book...I will continue the series and see where this goes

a spicy novella that had me hooked from the 1st line. Perfect pallet cleanser after reading an emotional drawn out book. Straight to the point, Josiah stands on business and that business is Majesty.

Nice quick urban read

I loved the characters and I love the length even though I found this book on TikTok and did not know it was a short story until the end. I wish we got more character development and insight into the characters. I feel like character development is what makes each typical urban book different and not so predictable. Overall, good read!
