Un-put-downable. I finished this all in one day.
Honestly I was not exciting to like this money so much. I’ve read a lot of gripping mysteries on Amazon, but most of them I can let go after I finish them. But this one, is oddly haunting. None of the characters are likeable, and there is no good guy or bad guy, per se. Every character is complex and unlikeable to some extent, with fatal flaws and a dark side. While it’s a mystery, it’s also a dive in human character, into witch-hunts: a bit of a modern Crucible, it makes us analyze the witch hunters more than the hunted.
