This is my second book that I have read by Shanora Williams, but my first of her thrillers and wow have I found a new thriller author to continue reading! When Rose Howard's friend goes missing, she uses her investigative skills to find out the truth of where she went and what happened. When everybody is a suspect, who do you trust? I tried to solve the mystery right along with Rose as the story was unfolding, with little success on my part. This book had my heart pumping, I had to know the truth and what had happened! I thought the narrators were a great fit for this story! Thank you to RBmedia for an advanced audio copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

I’m late on posting this but still wanted to give you guys my honest review. So I like the story, but I feel like I had trouble trying to figure out how much I wanted to empathize with Eve and her situation because she was a really complicated character. I think without the proper context, Rose had every right to be mad at her, but I knew she’d feel bad if she found out what really happened. Also I feel like the storyline was a little bit predictable; I had a feeling about who did it from the beginning I just didn’t know why until we got closer to the end. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC!

I love a Shanora Williams thriller because the female main character is always unhinged! The main character is constantly putting herself through danger, but I love how the book ended. I did not guess what happened at the end of the book. I read this book quickly in 2 days.
