I feel like this was too intense for a book about rich high school kids
I had never read any Elle Kennedy before this one. The story was a solid 9/10. The only reason this wasn’t five stars was because Sloane made me feel exposed.
I loved it, fresh take on high school, good mix of gossip girl and I would say riverdale first season while it was intriguing.
But mentality of charachters is more new adult.
It definitely leaves you wanting more.

Usually not a fan of high school romances but this was was interesting enough to keep reading. I liked some of the characters but thought there were too many perspectives that were unnecessary. Overall a fun read.

ok what the fuck did i just read ? i think i didn’t like this book but i’m not sure yet like the characters aren’t lovable AT ALL they’re all pieces of shit tbh but wtffffff like really wtf no and the plot wasn’t that good all that beef between RJ and Duke to be resolved in like 3 pages i think this was so badly handled and not really well written but well i guess i still want to know what happens next so i *might* read the next book
