It shouldn’t have been that cute

the writing and character’s seemed really childish and not very well written. i didn’t really enjoy this story and almost dnfed it multiple times.

Not the best book I ever read. A bit cheesy, but dang did it make me cry!! I have no idea why, maybe the young single mom in college, her mom in a coma, long lost love….I actually enjoyed this one more than I probably should have.

This book spends more time delving into a 5-6 year old's sexuality than any of the actual plot lines? Absolutely nobody is going to see 2 boys at the first day of school ever holding hands and think they're gay and bring it up multiple times. The little boys runs and hugs his friend and the dad asks "friend or boyfriend" and mom says she thinks boyfriend. THIS IS A CHILD BARELY OLDER THAN A TODDLER.

Good Plot

Really emotionally charged book but the storyline was great. I loved the look into the main couple’s past and their relationship development when they were reunited. I loved the sense of family that was present throughout.

This story is about Laura and Alec.  Alec is a big time NHL hockey player.  They are doing hometown tours so they go back to Duluth.  While there he runs into his old flame Laura.   He still has feelings for her and has for a long time.   He is hoping that maybe they can rekindle the relationship while he is in town since the last time he saw her they broke up at 16.   She wants nothing to do with him and he doesn't know why.

Laura can't belive the Alec is pretending that he knows nothing about thier son Jack., who is 5.    Her mom is in a coma and dying and the last thing she needs if for Alec to try to get back into her life.

Laura and Alec realize that his mom never delivered the letter that she gave to him.   She did this to save his career.

This book was a little predictable.    Alec didn't have to do too much to get Laura back and re forgave him really quickly in my opinion.    I might read the next one but I'm not sure.
