This was fun, cute and very fast paced.
Not a masterpiece, but definitely not as bad as people say.

It was a decently good story my I have two complaints both regarding the epilogue.
1. I loved that Jack was portrayed as possibly queer and it was normalized. However I felt that the sweet storyline was cheapened in the epilogue by saying “oh we moved and Jack has a new little boyfriend whose name also starts with E” it just felt forced and unnecessary it was honestly a bit wattpad.
2. In almost no world do we need two epilogues

First of all, what happened to Erick? Hello? Second of all, she let go of her hate towards him WAY too quickly for what their situation was, even before she knew that he didn't know. I would hope that any woman would have more pride than that. I'm sad about rating this book so low, but the writing felt rushed and didn't do the story justice, which I feel like definitely had potential. I really liked all of the characters, but the choices that specifically Laura made felt forced and not natural for her character. Good bones, but poor execution.

It’s the same as I remember it. It was pretty good there just isn’t anything super special about it but I like it.

I liked the story, but it was a little too easy for my liking. We didn't really see a struggling single mom. Yes she was struggling with her mom, which really contributed to the story and she had a great support system in Charlotte and Josh which I really loved, but she had a big closet, had time for school, excell in it even and have a parttime job where she earned a LOT of money and a side project. It seemed a little unrealistic.
Also, she fell very easily back into a relationship with Alec. A little more effort would have been nice.
Also the third act break up would've been SO easily avoided if Laura just talked to Alec. It annoyed the hell out of me.
It was a cute story and I liked it, but it didn't pull me in, like I said, it felt too easy.
