An oddly organized little book of facts.

The authors manage to do exactly what they accuse another author of doing literally one page earlier with calendula/marigold when they refer to Hibiscus sabdariffa simply as "hibiscus" with no explanation of other varieties that are less suitable for the tea they discuss and never even bother to give other common names, such as roselle.

Some of the photos don't match the discussion well. In the Americas section, a photo of marigolds is taken in India (and is of prayer flowers, not food flowers,) while the squash blossom photo was taken in France.

Interesting but inconsistent; a good beginner's book.
