The ultimate comfort read when you’re sick in bed with the flu.

This was so cute! The both the narrative and the characters were so endearing!

Just found my cassette tape of this. I remember listening to this endlessly as a child.

Glad I read this before my Adult Brain renders me incapable of grasping the logic of children.

This is a beloved part of my early childhood about which I could never be Truly Critical. But it is funny to go back and read these stories to my own daughter.

Rabbit and Owl and Eeyore feel like personalities that could belong in any story about characters in a quiet English village. Pooh and Piglet are darling, though I'm amused to see moments when even they are cross or petulant - they're still people.

The language can be a squint and a mouthful, especially in a darkened bedroom, but the cadence is still soothing, and I love using these stories to put my two-year-old to sleep.
