For anyone who read A Court of Thorns and Roses series - the three boys in this series remind me of the three bat boys in ACOTAR. Knox = Rhys, Nash = Cassian, and Lucian = Azrial.

With that in mind - I had such high expectations for the final book to hear about our “real life” shadow daddy - aka suit daddy. And I loved him as a character, moody and misunderstood and just trying to right all the wrongs he experienced earlier in life.

Some of my favorite scenes (heartbreaking/heartwarming)  were from the history of Sloane and Lucian, and obviously their chemistry was off the charts in current day too. I didn’t love the actions Lucian takes in the third act “break up” between our main characters, but as with the rest of the Knockemout series, happy ending is guaranteed.

With this being the final book in the series there is a great wrap up on all the “villains” from this book and previous. I really liked meeting new characters in this book to keep the plot interesting!

TWNGO is still my top pick of the 3. The seggsy time scenes were too much for me. And I don't know why we needed that final bad people standoff at the end... just to throw one in there? Also,  the last chapter had sooooo many characters I literally had to pause to be like... who is this again?! But I swear I really liked it!

I've waited so long for Sloane and Lucian's story! This was the best in the series.

I really like this book

BUT

why in the hell does every single woman in this series need to be saved by her man? Literally why can they not save themselves just once? OR EVEN let the girls save one of the dudes! All for the damsel in distress, but every. Single. Couple. Bffr. Respectfully. Lucian also panicking and deciding he was suddenly ready for children without ever having the thought process of him not having to be his father and treat his children the way he was treated was crazy to leave out. I just think this could’ve been an absolutely amazing way to reveal his commitment to Sloan by having her help him realize this, but nah he just has a testosterone-infused caveman claim on her and decides he’ll go whatever she wants if he can claim her. Blehh
