I absolutely adore Elly Griffiths, but this one was harder for me to get into. Maybe it was because of the male protagonists, or the setting and time period.

The mystery was so so. I figured out who the killer was about a quarter in. Not Griffiths best work. But I might give the series a second try after the latest Ruth Galloway book.
