Jonathan Stroud is a bloody genius of a storyteller. The book was everything I expected of the finale and more. A wonderful story from start to finish which took me on a much needed trip away from dreary to the lands of haunted London where Lockwood and Co. wage war against 'Visitors' - and their Source.

An exhilarating tale from start to finish, the ending was a major surprise, not because of the story itself, but because of the character deaths - and more importantly, the ones who lived.

In the end, the story was all I could've wanted and much more.

Take a bow, Mr. Stroud. Take a bloody bow.
