Socrates seems like an asshole. He also seems to have no understanding and places no value in mental health or emotions. They seem to him illogical.

I don't think I'm getting anything out of reading this, so I'm just going to drop it.

Still not a fan of this collection of dialogues. I appreciate that most of them are designed to introduce a new way of philosophising but I found them to be a bit of a waste of time to read from a modern perspective. The talking in circles gets frustrating quite quickly and Socrated comes across as incredibly condescending and smug (which is ironic because he is supposed to be the character that makes other characters seem smug!). Not my favourite of Plato's works.
