4.5* really loved this but I would prefer at least ONE soft scene and not all rough sex. Also the ending confused me

Book 6 in the Fallen Men series gives us Priest & Bea's story. Priest is definitely the darkest MMC we have had from this series so far, and I personally love his psychopathic ways. This is somewhat of an opposites attract romance however Bea isn't the total sweet, Christian good girl we have seen her to be upto now, she has always had a fascination with the dark, macabre, violent & dangerous things of the world and Priest embodies all of that and she can't help but crave and be drawn towards him because of it. We don't get the details of why Priest is the way he is till toward the end of the book but the build up to it made it more impactful as you can't help but form an attachment to him throughout this book and to see him finally breaking down to allow Bea in was everything!

There is a serial killer on the loose in Entrance and they seem to be fixated in Bea which Priest will not stand for as if any psychopath is going to be obsessed with her it is only going to be him. The way he calls her his Little Shadow and quietly but ruthlessly claims her in all ways just works for me, he is not a gentle man but Bea craves that and doesn't want or expect him to change, she accepts him for who and what he is and matches his energy in her own way. She is fiercely protective of him towards anyone and doesn't sit idley by when people talk shit about him, which I loved. Who the killer turns out to be was obvious to me, but as it wasn't truly the main focus of the story, I didn't mind it so much.

This was my final reread of the series and I loved it as much as I did the first time, listening to the audiobook brings Priest especially to life, Richard Sawyer was fantastic in his portrayal of Priests sinister nature and Ava Erickson is always a joy to listen to. This is one of my favourites of the entire series, I love an obsessed, possessive, unhinged MMC, the chemistry between these two sizzles off the page, and the spice was great. Can't wait to get to the newest release when my mood reading self moods right so I can do it. 🌶🌶🌶

Giana has done it again!!!

Of course we fall in love with Priest and Bea immediately! Of course the stalker and church girl are the perfect match. And, of course this book is a more than 5 star read!!

I love how Giana Darling unpeeled the layers of Priest and Bea so that we can see why their love works. She could have skipped over it it rushed all the information up front but instead she shows us bit by bit, each of their souls. We fall in love with them and we understand why they are the people that they are. We understand why their love is do beautiful — No judgement about either of them just love.

This is now my new fave of The Fallen Series. The story is well written and perfectly developed. The spice level is OFF THE CHARTS!!! You will need two or three fans.

This story has trigger warnings so please pay attention to them if any of them bother you.
