The story was interesting enough but I listened to it as an Audiobook and I could not stand the narrator. I think the narration ruined the book for me; it's an interesting premise that turned very fast paced at the end with story lines unraveling and made me interested in reading the second book. If I do end up reading #2, it will be via the physical copy and not as an Audiobook.

So many pages. So little plot. For a long time, I had no idea where the plot was going, because nothing happens for 600 pages. By the time things started to happen, I didn’t care about any of the characters. Big disappointment.

What a great start!
I was unsure if the sisters would be able to top their series within Solaria, and oh boy was I wrong. This society is brutal, and makes Solaria look like all unicorns and rainbows.
I love the new characters and the new orders we are introduced to. The storyline is intriguing and I love the mystery aspect of it.
The last few chapters had me hanging on the edge of my seat, clutching my bleeding heart! I need the next book ASAP.

The audio performance was superb. Bridget captured Everest's anger and Vesper's arrogance perfectly.

I thought the characters were shallow and lacked any development or arch. The plot was interesting but took about 250+ pages to develop which felt entirely too long. That being said, it did leave off at a good cliff hanger which could be an opening for some character development in book 2.

Okay this book was wild! The beginning was super gripping but then the world building/build up just kept going and going and it started to feel boring. The first 2/3 took me a while to get through! The romance was lacking, wanted more banter and depth between characters, even just between friends. It felt like ALL the characters were slow to get to know but it by the end I was fully invested and love both Everest and Vesper. Once I finally figured out where this book might be going, the last 1/3 was really good and the ending was wild. I’m actually super bummed the next one isn’t out yet because I NEED TO KNOW

Okay this was so much fun! If you want a hilarious fun fantasy with a slow burn romance this is it! The world building is easy to follow, and I think more will be revealed in the next book! One of the main character’s was giving me serious Manon vibes and I was absolutely HERE for it! She is an absolutely badass and loved the female power that dominates this book! The twists and turns THREW me! I was so surprised! Loved! I feel like we started I’m to see some character development from the characters and I’m hoping to see more in the next book!

It was a little odd that we never got a view into what classes looked like? That was something that I really enjoyed about Ruthless Fae! That was probably one of my biggest criticisms.
