It's hard to tell how to feel about this comic, but I'm certainly not thrilled. The main character Ethan is a jerk. He even ends up making a long, misogynistic rant in the 2nd scene, and gets kicked out of the only bar in his small town. I didn't find anyone in the graphic novel to be a likable character. The plot was not that compelling, either, so I gave up on it. The whole series is hyper-focused on reproduction as a horror concept. DNF at 76% in because I just couldn't get into it. I was waiting for the plot to get more interesting, but I wasn't really feeling it.

Good but kinda rushed ending. I want to know what happens after. What happens when the wall comes down and they have to explain what the heck happened??? How do you explain to the authorities all the people gone and dead?

Reminded me of “Under the Dome”. Small town trapped by alien forces threatening to destroy all women and replace them with “Girls”. Everyman narrator. Fun and clever.

I want to know what happens next, and what IS going on and how and why, but I just don't think I can spend any more time in this horrible town with these horrible characters. Does it get better?

I read this one, but never went on to the others. The first one was sort of setting up the story for later, so was a bit unsatisfying, although I thought it had good atmosphere. Might give them a go
