The Sherlock and Watson moments in this volumes warranted the 5 stars I gave it. The original Charles Augustus Milverton short story is one of my favourites in the Sherlock Holmes canon so it was nice to see how it was manipulated to have Watson be more included. But their conversation!!! It was perfect. Their friendship is so dear to me and the issues they brought up were things I always thought were conflicts they would have even in the original books even if it wasn't expanded upon - so it was nice to see them discussed. I also really enjoyed how both Moriarty and Milverton underestimated Sherlock because they both placed him into the stereotype of this gallant Great Detective who does things for the greater good. Anyways, I really enjoyed this volume.
