I found this entertaining but lacking a little on the interest level. I've found some of her novels are just a little too predictable...but usually still enjoyable in a chick flick kind of way. This one was a little odd but also fun....it deals with imaginary friends which was an interesting twist....it just didn't grab my attention as much as I would have liked...

This book was boring and had strange characters. Usually I can get into stories where you have to suspend disbelief, but this is not one of them. The premise (an invisible friend for an adult) is not quite believable, but I just kept reading to see what would happen. Not worth my time, though I did finish it. Ending was so-so.

I wanted to love this and after reading the synopsis, I thought I would, so I was disappointed when I didn’t.

It all felt a bit confusing with characters, timeline jumping and what was real and what wasn’t.

Real shame

A nice imaginative story, but nowhere near as good as P.S. I Love You or Dear Rosie. I had a difficult time getting in to the book and it didn't maintain my interest that well. Ahern can and has done better.

I love all of Cecelia Ahern's books, with the exception of this and The Gift. I just really couldn't get into it, and the characters were really annoying. I have up with this book a few weeks ago and when I got back to reading it, I had to speed read the second half of the book... I couldn't wait to finish it, for all of the wrong reasons. I also really didn't enjoy the parts where Ivan went to 'work' with all of his fellow imaginary friends, it felt too much like a children's book. Also, the phrase 'by far my favourite' was very overused.

This was my first Cecelia Ahern book. It was the book that actually got me into reading. After closing the book, I bawled. I couldn't stop the tears. It was just so beautiful. The ending was so fitting. Even if it didn't end the way I wanted it to, it wasn't disappointing. Actually, I think that's what made it better. This book tugged at my heartstrings, it made me feel so many things I don't have a name for. It's definitely worth a read. And out of all the Cecelia Ahern books I've read, this is the best.
