“a children’s book for adults”

everyone should read this. absolutely breathtaking and is now another one of my favorites. i remember watching the film several years ago, and wanting to read the book so much more after. i am so glad that i did. beautiful.

Wonderful book, it's an old children's book, so the language is a little dated but it's a great story rich in symbolism.

One of my favorite books since I was little. It's a must read for everyone. I'm autistic and always took things quite literally. Suprisingly the amount of literal metaphors used in this book made it easier for me to understand the concepts and messages it wants to pass, and everytime I read it I seem to learn something new, even years after I have first read it.
