Perspective and curiosity are beautiful things
Me: It's ridiculous that a "children" book can make you cry.
Also me:

Why the hell I have to wait almost 30 years to read this book?
Goddamit for fucking fuck's sake.
I'm bawling. IT'S SOOOOOOO GOOD.
Probably will read it again and again...and again...and again.

Such a truly beautiful story. Really makes you think.
this book shows the different types of grown-ups. ceritanya sederhana tapi banyak pelajaran yang bisa diambil dari buku ini. mungkin keliatannya kayak buku anak-anak tapi sebenarnya ini buku cocok buat dibaca sama orang dewasa karena bener-bener meaningful bgt
and also I'm so in love with the illustrations in this book!

The Little Prince was the book that first showed me how a "children's story" could hold so much truth for grown-ups. I borrowed it from my school library in the 5th grade, not expecting it to leave such a lasting mark on me. Its gentle, whimsical voice disguises a depth that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
The ending broke my heart in a way no fairy tale ever had before—it was sad, but also so full of meaning. That bittersweetness was inspiring for me as a young reader, and it’s one of the reasons I write today. In fact, the first chapter of my own fantasy novel "Icebound" is called "The Little Prince," and roses remain a motif throughout my entire series.
The Little Prince is a story I'll always carry with me. A reminder that sometimes the simplest tales hold the deepest truths.
