Book 3 of 4. I am reeling from this one. Ruin, such a fitting title. I am so invested in these characters at this point it is amazing. I will continue on and hope for a less dreary outcome. What started out as a good vs. evil where a reader was left figure out which "champion" was which has now turned into some shades of grey in the black and white. I find characters I am rooting for hard and hopeful that there is still another book for them! I find some that I just dislike and glad there is another book where they may get what is coming to them, though with the tone of this series I am not certain that they will. I also have some characters that I feel bad for as they got caught up in a trap and hype until there was no turning back.
I still highly recommend this series to my friends who love character driven and epic fantasy. Even those that have asked me about newer series and authors that will not leave you disappointed and running back to the classics because you are hesitant to pick up anything new.

why ???

Corban's reaction after Meical revelation was really not the better one limit childish now it will feels like if Corban had abandoned.

It's going from simple a tale of honor and good vs evil to a tale of vengeance and retribution (with storm death and probably others)

I haven't read the next book yet, but I would have preferred a simpler end. Hope I'm wrong tho.
