Blade was going to sell Eve to a guy who was going to sell her to the highest bidder as punishment for not really running away. Eve continues to love him anyway. I can take darkness & violence in an MC book, but that was too much for me. I was always on the fence about Blade. Sometimes "hell yes alpha" and sometimes "what an asshole" but that scene pushed him so far into asshole territory there was no coming back. I finished it only because I liked Eve.

What would you do if the guy you’re with steps out on you? I don't know about you or me (thank God I've never been in that situation), but our h decided she needed some space and went out without telling H. He then decided to go after her, mad as all get out, might I add, found her and took her somewhere. There H let a guy put his hands all over h, said guy then asks H how much he wants to sell h for... of course, H then chickens out and gives up on the sale because by then h is crying so much and accepts to be his. Charming no?
Then, what would you do when he takes you back “home”? Do the nasty him as nothing happened and decides you’re going to make him love you because he's such a catch (read irony here). Apparently, that’s what you do...
I mean, COME ON, give me a break.
What kind of f*ed up lesson is it that you’re teaching girls? To eat whatever guys dish at them and work hard because eventually, they’ll love them? Puh-lease!!
Make some heroines with dignity and self-respect!

These two surprise me. One min I hate Blade then the next I’m thinking he is so nice. I’m glad we get Insight into his head or else I would hate him all the time. His outwardly actions are what is needed to be the Prez. But those softer thoughts are what make him redeemable. His transformation was long coming but I was glad to see it.
Eve has some spunk. I about freaked when he was thinking of selling her to get her to obey him?!? I was like “What the H?” Then I saw I had many more pages to go so “RELAX” lady. She really pulled this whole thing together. Blade had her all figured out and she didn’t even know it.
This is my first book by this author. I am glad I gave this a try. It’s nicely done. I have the next in the series to read. She engaged me from the beginning and through the ups and downs...I was hooked. I didn’t want to put it down but when I did..I was eager to get back to find out what happens next. Or how is Blade going to handle this situation with Eve. This will be going on my favorites and re-read list.

If asshole alphas are your thing you will love Blade! Cassandra has officially popped my MC cherry. I never choose to read books that revolve around MC's because let's face it, it's not my thing but I couldn't resist Lethal because I absolutely love Cassandra's work. She didn't disappoint either. One minute you will hate Blade the next you will love him, Eve brings out the good boy that's hiding deep down in a bad boy body when it comes to Blade. And Eve she will surprise everyone at just good she is at lying!!! I loved all of the support characters too Edge and Dolly were my favorite 😍
Cassandra Robbins never disappoints. Her stories are full of drama, they are super sexy.
