I found the pace of this one quite slow, but I did enjoy the pirates and some of the more comedic bits. As a modern woman, I found the representation of Wendy and her role in the story was disappointing and quite sad.

Problematic, caracaturish representation of Native Americans. The representation of women was disappointing as well. I saw a review elsewhere which described the author as "very Victorian", which about sums it up.
