the writing was nice at times and it tells multiple good messages throughout the book.
but it didn’t meet my expectations at all.
i strongly dislike peter pan and maybe that was the point but i just found it so hard to get through having him as one of the main characters.
also.. the ending was really weird. like wtf
he just keeps calling girls in wendys bloodline his mother?!!ugh

No era para nada lo que esperaba, y hasta la mitad del libro pensé que con suerte le iba a dar 3 estrellas pero ese final me encantó, me rompió el corazón en muchas partecitas y me enamoro más de lo que esperaba.

Wasn't expecting it to be so creepy. I think part of it is that it's written so childishly - but clearly written by an adult man. I don't know, I'm not calling the author a pedophile obviously, but it's creepy in that sort of way.

That being said, I liked it. And I liked that the fairies aren't just cutesy - it does feel like an actual faerie story

Loved the live action narration. You feel like you’re in Neverland.

Well, that was a lot sadder of an experience than I expected. I know most classics aren't as happy as the Disney movies should be. But, this was just very solemn and made me feel sad! I can't say I didn't enjoy it. But, it was just really sad.

Ok so I have to say this made me very uncomfortable a lot of the time. Just how Wendy was sexualized and described was so weird. Also Peter Pan was such a gaslighter and just weird towards Wendy and Mary. I think the audible version cut out a lot of the racist comments that I’ve seen other reviews mention. Other than those things the story is fun and the audible version was amazing which is why this is a three. I don’t think I really knew the story of Peter Pan so this was interesting to finally read.
