A solid, suspenseful, mystery/thriller book! I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the narration. I had some suspicions about who it was but it kept me guessing!

I did not NOT like it… but I’m not sure if I liked it either. I guess I managed to be surprised by the ending, which I was surprised about- so that was nice. I thought it was going to be an overdone bad seed cliche. But luckily it was more than that. I felt like the end romance bit was unnecessary- cute but what was the point? What was the point of the entire bit with her divorcing her husband and him getting a new girlfriend? That seemed totally unnecessary. It added absolutely nothing to the story. I guess if this wound up being a series and there was more to her personal life being important across multiple books… but for a standalone it just seemed like too much unnecessary detail?
Not really a “thriller” in my opinion. Ending was kind of over the top and guessed who had done it pretty early on.

I flew through the first half of this thriller/mystery. The second part was a little slower but that could’ve been because I didn’t listen for long periods of times so it was a little choppy. The ending was a little cheesy and almost softened the thrill too much. Overall a good listen!
