Cute play on Aladdin and Jasmine, but it wasn't what I expected after reading Our Husband. Still a good read though!
Not a fan of modern day retellings of fairy tales. Somehow I missed this in the description or I wouldn't have downloaded it. Not the author's fault.
I know this book hasn't gotten the greatest reviews, but I really enjoyed it! It was cute! A modern day telling of Aladdin that just brought a smile to my face.
Light, frothy, fun but a bit too cliched for my liking.
Cute. A little too much of an Aladdin rip off. Jasmine and Ladden? not very original...flying carpet and magic Genie lamp...... would have been cuter with more subtle relations to the well known Aladdin story.... Regardless it was a cute story though. :-)

Exactly what you expect it to be.... completely escapist, fun, quick read
This was a miss for me. Bond's other books have been fun, but this one really emphasizes the lack of character development that I'm noticing in her writing. I enjoyed the set up, but I wanted there to be more to this story.
I wanted to like this. It was a cute story, but it wasn't funny and the main characters behaved way too formally for a young couple. It could have been funny, but the characters were not real enough. They were a bit wooden. The female lead, Jasmine was especially boring and I couldn't understand why Ladden would be interested in her. I am assuming Ms. Bonds' writing in other genres is more enjoyable.
