Fun Read

This is my first book by Swanson. I really enjoyed the story and the twists. However, the May twist was predictable. It still very much with the read. I give it 4 dad versus of the predictable end twist and a few editorial series ( i.e. text should read "was no longer living," but instead reads as, was longer living," in regards to a deceased character.

Wow, this twisty thriller is exactly what I want in a book! Characters to love and hate and a very satisfying ending. I didn't want to put it down!

If you haven't read any Peter Swanson yet, definitely start this series with The Kind Worth Killing and read them in order.

An engaging and pretty fast-paced thriller that features a lot more of Lily than it does of Henry. I liked that this had somewhat of a mystery aspect and a twist in the middle, despite it seeming clear
that we knew from the beginning who the killer was.
Lily is also a pretty unique character and I enjoyed getting to know more about her thought process and what drives her, although some decisions she made I definitely disagreed with.

Pace was exceptionally fast and to the point. I absolutely loved that but also did not feel a connection to the characters. Not sure if this is because there are other books before this.
But I do have to say the twists that this plot brought were great
