This book started off with a BANG but for some reason, this book that is less than 260 pages took me many days. I got bored, found a typo… and if I hadn’t checked it out from my local library would have been appalled to pay $30 for it. Thank you, next.

i will preface this by saying i did not know this was the 3rd book in a series so i picked this up on its own as a BOTM pick.
but this book was so over the top. and not in a good way. it reminded me of a cringier version of thursday murder club (idk why, but it did).

Twists and turns all the way through and a fast page turner. Exactly what I was looking for.
A woman suspects her husband of killing women after some suspicious activity at home and discovering crimes in cities he’s been to for conferences where he sells merchandise. Martha enlists the help of her friend Lilly to uncover the truth about her husband.
This is a Henry Kimball and Lilly Kintner novel but at no point was I confused and felt like I needed to read the first two books in the series. I am excited to go back and read the first two now!
