This was the first Peter Swanson novel I read, so maybe I just am not used to his style, but it felt like the writing was stilted and awkward.

I do wish that the existence of a plot twist wasn’t revealed in the book summary on the cover because I would have liked to believe Alan was guilty for longer than I did. I feel like the plot took just enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting. I feel like the ending was a tad bit rushed but I still enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed Peter swanson’s Christmas novella but this book gave me nightmares, I think it’s a little too dark for me!!

Meh. It was okay. Not as good as his other books and kinda weird and boring. Some good parts. Some parts that didn't make sense. Lots of jumping to conclusions. Lots of too perfect coincidences. A little disappointing overall.
