Hulk: Gray

This is a must for comic book fans/fans of the Hulk. It shows the many complexities of The Hulk, his emotions, and his inner turmoil being two very different people at once.

I was surprised by this book. I love it in so many ways and question it in others. But the beauty of processing the Bruce/ Betsy relationship dynamic was amazing. A surprising and great book.

I guess the Loeb-Sale combination really worked for this issue. I think that Bruce Banner/Hulk is the perfect character for this particular narrative style, more of a graphic stream of consciousness coupled with captivating art. Better than the previous Loeb series I've read? Definitely.

Excellent graphic novel. I loved everything from the story line to the art style to everything in between. I'm not even that big a fan of the hulk but this was great. Loved this one the most out of the color series marvel did.

A genuinely moving and emotional approach to the Hulk origin story. Highly recommended - even if you're not a hulk fan!

This was my first standalone Hulk book and probably my last. The artwork and use of color was certainly stylish, but there was barely enough story for one issue, let alone six.

Grey tried to hit all the same beats as Daredevil: Yellow and Spider-Man Blue: but managed not to inspire me to care about any of its characters this time around. Maybe a certain baseline appreciation for all things Hulk was required to get anything out of it. I was left cold.
