He might be a bit of golden retriever to the mc which is my favorite type
Reveal at the end was actually the opposite of what I was expecting too
Bit fast paced but not in a bad way, makes me hooked rather than have to take a break like other books but some more world building would be nice

2-3 Stars. It’s really… interesting written I guess?

Booktok did it again. Never trusting a quote again

DNF 30% through. Genuinely felt like I was reading wattpad fic written by a horny 14y/o. I couldn’t stop cringing and physically recoiling.

Also I swear it’s like a bad Walmart copy of Rhapsodic??? (Do recommend for quick easy entertainment - fun premise) Pure chance I started reading this right after I DNF’d the other. But the similarities were baffling.

Yes, there were predictable moments. Yes, I devoured this book.

These Fates that Bind Us did not disappoint, and I 100% recommend it to anyone who is considering reading it! There were a few points where I was left wondering why it was able to make it into the published version of the book, but those were, like I said, few and far in between.

The romance between Aster and Nox was believable and I liked how their "attachment" to each other was a main component of the novel, but not the main one.

It honestly could have been a better rated book but everything felt very rushed and nothing was explained to its full potential. She finds her mate immediately and upon finding out who he is she’s very blasé about it all. Her uncle is quite literally the devil and I think it’s very glossed over. Everyone wants to kill for her but also they just continue to let her be in harms way (uncle is abusive in every sense of the word) I also feel like her being the lost princess is just so unbelievable because you’re telling me there’s no photos of her as a 7 year old child? The public see someone who looks exactly like the former queen and just… ignores it? Right. Anyways i finished it even tho I didn’t really want to but I will not be continuing the series.
