ML lowkey got worse after they got together but still, the journey to getting there tickled my heart in all the right ways
Super fluffy! I wasn't sure about starting this one at first because I didn't think I'd be a fan of the catfishing plot, but somehow it ended up being okay. I laughed, giggled, and ended up loving the characters. Some second-hand embarrassment, but there were only 2 chapters that had me speed-reading through to get through the pain of embarrassment.

Overall this story was fun to read. It's very cute and had lots of moments that made me laugh.
This story does not necessarily have the best writing. The video game set up is a bit hard to understand and kind of nonsense. Jing Huan's Jie is essentially a "bag of gold" in this story. Her past with the slag guy is what motivates the plot but she herself is not really a character and everything quickly stops being about her and more about Jing Huan's feelings. Everything she is or was is just enough to give an excuse for why Jing Huan makes the choices he does. Replace her story with Yearning For having stolen a lot of money from one of Jing Huan's friends and the plot would be the essentially the same. There were times I got even bored. But the first sentence still stands true and I'm basing my ranking on my enjoyment.

OK, I see why this book gets all the hype. Written by the same author as [b:我行让我来|58725986|我行让我来|醬子貝|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1628433054l/58725986._SX50_.jpg|92422726], I would say that you can roughly expect similar things. This story is a very VERY cute first-love slash university romance between two gamers. It's a feel-good, romcom and fluffy story. I did however feel that the story was longer than it needed to be because there was a long lull period in the middle with nothing much happening. But still pretty enjoyable!
