An interesting read during the pandemic. Life for light!
I did enjoy much of this, but ultimately it really felt like she was trying to do way too much within one triology, and this made it feel somewhat unsatisfying. The ideas were interesting and could have been a lot of different, better stories - maybe in a much longer series.
Also it's disappointing when someone writes a book where people are starting over making a new world and they mostly just replicate the systems that got us in the mess we're in.

Not my favorite ending to this series. But, very Nora Roberts.
This book really got to me! It made me so emotional on so many different account. I listened to it on audible and I actually tested up a little listening to the ending fight! Some parts were better than others for sure but I think it was a great end to the trilogy. It is true though that each book felt different. I think with leaning so much on the magic and the chosen one and all that led to things added in that I would have been fine without. Overall though it was great.
