Nice ending to a good story.

Absolutely amazing! I love the way Nora Roberts writes.

I enjoyed the whole series but felt this third one dragged a little in places and then rushed to wrap it all up at the end. Great combination of fantasy and dystopian though.

Slogged thru— loved the first one and only finished this one because I was determined not to give up. Ugh

Received this book for free from the publisher with a request for an honest review.

I suspect I might have enjoyed this book more if I had gone back and reread book 2 first. I didn’t recall who some of the characters were, which made it harder to care about them. This whole series just didn’t grab me as much as most of Roberts’ works do. The battles were too easily won, so it lacked some suspense.

I'm a little sad that this trilogy is over. I love this world that Roberts created, so unique and powerful. I love that there is always hope and resilience.

I have enjoyed this trilogy immensely. I fell in love with Nora’s trilogies a long time ago. There have been a few hat weren’t for me but from the moment I picked up book one, I was hooked.
I have not read an adult post apocalyptic/dystopian trilogy. I hesitate to call this a romance because it feels like this series is so much more. Yes there is romance but that is not the central focus.
In most of her trilogies, you have he 3’s: 3 women find 3 men, there are 3 quests or objectives, and each of the three must be successful to move forward. This series still has the threes but they are not as obvious. I loved that she switched it up.
Fallon is a fantastic character with an excellent ARC. I love that her story begins before she’s born and you get to see how it’s all set in motion.
I know that I will re read this series and live it just as much the next time.

4 stars. And it’s over. I was honestly expecting it to end with a bang but it doesn’t and that was kind of disappointing. Easily my least favorite in the trilogy unfortunately. I felt like there was a lot of setting up to the climax and that didn’t always make it the most interesting thing to read. A lot of this book is very, very slow. However, I am pleased with how it ended and I think it was the way it needed to end. I’m glad that I’ve finally finished this trilogy because they are such great reads. Entertaining, intense, dark, and with a bit of romance. I still had fun and would highly recommend this trilogy.

the ending was very predictable so the last 1/3 was kind of boring
