Závěr série Milénium. Příběh se docela dobře uzavřel na David Lagercrantz už ns předchozích dílech ukázal, že na Larssona umí navázat dobře. Akční konec byl sice mírně uchvátaný, ale to už k Miléniu tak nějak patří.

Not my favorite in the series. The mystery was not compelling and the Salander story was just ok. I think that this series has run its course.

I feel like I'm experiencing the law of diminishing returns with this series. I'm invested in the characters, so I continue reading, but I can't say it's nearly as gripping as Stieg Larsson's trilogy.
I’ve never loved this series, but have kept with it. I think this was my favorite one.
After the previous book in this series, I came to peace with the fact this entire series is about Lisbeth's childhood. In some series, the protagonist's past is prologue to the story. In this series, even with all the big events that headline each novel, Lisbeth's childhood IS the story. Every story.
And as far as that goes, this was a nice round-up of all that has come before. The supposed real story, of government agents run amok and of Russian creeps purveying evil, regained a step in the right direction from the previous novel. It was everything a thriller's lead plot should be.
If you like these kinds of books, you'll like this novel. That's it.
