The Lagercrantz novels are steadily deteriorating. In this latest effort, although both the protagonist and the antagonist are female, men do 85% of the talking. The Everest story was convoluted and overblown. I miss the precisely detailed writing of Larsson. Remember the magnificent lists Salander used to create? I hope I'll be able to resist reading the next book, assuming there is one, because it will only lead to heartbreak.

This book felt like two separate books mashed into one without really connecting in any way shape or form. I don’t feel as though they meshed together well felt choppy and weird, but each story was good I liked the chinaman story the best was very interesting seeing how that story unfolded absolutely loved! I did like lisbeths story but it almost felt dull for most of it. Lisbeth should be a huge center piece for the story and it just feels like she isn’t. Almost like she’s just an after thought until she just happens to come crashing it to save the day. I want more for her than what I’m getting. I do think it’s a good read and you will enjoy it and I do recommend but know it just does not hit the same as the other ones.

I primi 5 libri sono molto belli, questo meno, è piuttosto lento e ripetitivo.
Minor: Alcoholism, Death, Domestic abuse, Gun violence, Incest, Infidelity, Misogyny, Pedophilia, Physical abuse, Torture, Toxic relationship, Violence, Kidnapping, Grief, Suicide attempt, Death of parent, Murder, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , Fire/Fire injury, Injury/Injury detail
3.75. I really liked the storyline with Camilla and Lisbeth, but for some reason I had a hard time following the rest of the plot. I don’t know if it’s because I listened as an audiobook but I kept feeling lost with who characters were and how they related to that plot line. Nonetheless I think I liked these books better than the original trilogy.
Too bad the books aren’t being made into movies anymore. I think this book would’ve been better as a movie. Lots of action and the return and final closure of Lisbeth’s relationship with Camilla was all very satisfying. The whole side story about the Himalayan climb was so ill fitting though, and as with the other books, minus a star for calling Lisbeth a girl rather than the powerful and formidable woman that she is. Stop infantilizing women please!!!!

Charaktere haben sich stark verändert, sind nur noch blasse Abbilder ihrer selbst, Story ist schnell gepaced, Plot okay, liest sich gut und leicht durch
