The action is slow to unfold, but the spice kept me vested until the plot picked up. It gives a Clue-esque vibe in plot, which is interesting, but it moved a little slow for what I expected based on the previous books in the series.

   I’m reading this series out of order, but I appreciated the plot and smut. I liked the mystery aspect and the fake dating that exposed real feelings. Solid SMUT with light bondage, like the representation of a curvy FMC. Made me want to read the rest of the series asap.
