I enjoyed it a lot! I really enjoyed Crew and Lane and the rest of the hockey boys. Their man-child banter is hilarious. I loved it.

That aside, I think where writing was concerned it could have been better. I am not too familiar with this author’s work and while it’s not bad, I’ve just read better. The plot was kind of in bits and bobs, some plots came by and went - just felt like certain things were sort of shoeboxes towards the end and felt like it was just there to move the story along.

Bridget, unfortunately became extremely annoying towards the tail end and I just found it hard for me to bounce back from that.

It was a good first introduction - I want a Crew in my life - and there were many cute moments, but it left me wanting a lot more.

Omg there two were so adorable and sweet 😭😭😭 from their first interaction they had really good chemistry, like soooo good. I found their banter to be really good too. I really liked how they became really good friends before getting together officially. The book was very light on the spice but the emotional connection was so good and strong that the spice wasn't something that was needed at all.
I found both characters to be super sweet. I liked both of them. I found them to be extremely mature. There was no fights between them or unnecessary drama.
Their bffs lowkey got on my nerves a bit. I just felt like yall grown ya can act like it instead of fighting all the time. Them hooking up too didn't come as a surprise. The way they were supportive of Bridget and Lane gave them a lot of Brownie points in my eyes. The friendship between them was amazing.
I would have liked to see more of their families though. From the start Lane has had a problem with his mom and it somewhat got fixed at the end but I would have liked to see their relationship actually develop. Also I completely understand Bridget wanting to find her birth mom and I was happy for her when they met up. I just would have like to see her more with her parents (the ones that adopted her) it just kind of seemed like she forgot about them once she found her other mom and the way she spoke about them they were all really close. So I would have just liked to see a little bit more family moments.
Overall this was truly a wonderful hockey romance. Definitely will be recommended it to everyone!! I also enjoyed the authors writing a lot.

⬥︎ This heartwarming book introduces us to the charming world of Bridget Bell and Lane Avery. Their initial not-so-meet-cute, marked by a drink spill, sets the stage for an unexpected twist of fate. A lease oversight leads Bridget and Kota to share an apartment with none other than Lane and his best friend, Crew.

⬥︎ This was a quick and enjoyable read, I was captivated by the setting and the lovable characters. I loved the development of Lane and Bridget's relationship from friends to a couple, because we got to know them on a deeper level and it added a wonderful depth to the story.

⬥︎ I liked how the author gave us bits of their past,  especially Lane's, my heart broke for him and he  deserved so much more. While I relished the main storyline, I found Mitch and Ava's plotline didn't add much to the story. Instead I think shifting the focus to Bridget's relationship with her bio mom could have added more natural development.

⬥︎ My favourites moments were the banter throughout the book, and the dynamic between Crew and Kota, I LOVE THEM! It  brought an extra layer of amusement. Can wait for what comes next in this duet installment!

⬥︎ If you're a hockey romance girlie this book is definitely for you, it has swoon worth moments and a friend group you wish you'd be part of it ♡

⬥︎ Thank you so much @ for allowing me to be part of Bridget and Lane's journey.

This is my first time reading this author and I loved it. Lane was so in love with Bridget and it was adorable to see. He was fighting it so hard and it was cute. The way all of his teammates pestered him because of his crush was so funny. Bridget was a little slower to get there simply because she didn't want to have feelings for him. Once they both admitted that they liked each other and started dating, everything was amazing. They just fell so hard for each other and are the exact person that they need. Everything with Kota and Crew was also funny and I hope/think the next book is about them.

I received an arc from grey's promotion.

I loved reading this book, I laughed in this book more than I have in a long time. The banter was on point. I loved when Crew and Kota were in a room together, they are hilarious. Lane and Bridget were very relatable characters. They tried to do what was right and stay away from each other but the tension and chemistry between them was stronger.

This is my first book by Trinity Lemm, and she did not disappoint. She has such a way of writing depth into characters that makes you feel every emotion that they do. There were a few times throughout the book, I cried with Bridget. It was almost like I was there with her and feeling what she was. There were a few times I also wanted to shake characters and yell, what are you thinking? In the end, I wish we got to see where they end up in the future but besides that I ended the book with a smile and a laugh. I highly recommend this book and I hope you enjoy Lane and Bridget’s story as much as I did.
