Phew!
Books 4,5 and 6 of the Deliver series. And holy cow. This is one DARK, and STEAMY series. This one finds us with the story of Tate, then the story of Kate, then the last is Martin & Ricky. All are characters from throughout the entire series, but they are all standalone books with no cliffhanging endings.
(I'd still read them in order, honestly)

*Check your TWs for sure. There are some extremely dark and depraved descriptive scenes, and if you don't like those kinds of things, then NONE of this series is for you.

Pam Godwin can bring ALL THE FEELS, that is certain, and I will absolutely be reading more of her work in addition to the rest of this series.

On my reread journey of this series, no changes. Pam is a queen of darkness in the romance genre!

Loved the first 3 books of the series! So much. I still enjoyed Tate and Lucia as well (4) … but I could not continue with Kate. I genuinely do not care for her character. At all. I’m intrigued by Tiago and his past. But I just couldn’t keep going. I just stopped caring about their story. And I don’t care to continue this series at this time.

I enjoyed these three much more than the first 3 books. This series is very dark with almost irredeemable characters, but I live to see them redeem themselves.

From Evil (Books 4-6; Devastate, Take, Manipulate)

This book is significantly darker than the previous, imo. Some of these scenes were hard to get through.

Book 3 ends with Tate on a mission to find his best friend's (Camila) sister. Tate knows Camila can never care for him the way he cares for her, but he knows that by finding her sister, who has been missing for over 8 years, will get him brownie points.
With the help of Cole, her location has been tracked down. There is a few problems with this. Lucia has been held captive, working with/for Tiago - a notorious kidnapper. Tiago kidnaps people and ransoms them by any means possible, with the help of Lucia. Tate cannot get Lucia out by herself, so Cole, Van Quiso, and Tate venture off to make this happen. Because of Tate's undisclosed history, he is able to get into pretty much anywhere. Van Quiso accompanies Tate to ensure he doesn't get himself killed.

Tiago is a brutal man and the shit he does in this is completely fucked.
But book 5 is his redemption...

Tiago is seriously fucked and since he cannot have Lucia, he takes someone else - Kate. Kate was the last victim of Van Quiso's Sex Trafficking business and because of this she is very sensitive (as one would be) to being kidnapped and held against her will. However, she uses her darkest moments to get her through these dark moments. Trying to woo Tiago has it's challenges though! He does not care for anyone.. that is until he figures out Kate is essentially untouched despite her being capture and trained to be a sex slave. Kate brings out a side in Tiago that no one has ever seen before and her quickly starts to show himself in a better light.

Crazy to think that I absolutely hated Tiago, but ended up loving this book. This book has some of my favorite tropes, virgin h, primal-ish, possessive alpha asshole.. this book is disturbing to say the least.. he has an itch for carving flesh! And a desire to mark her in every way possible.

Manipulate (Book 6)

Tula is just your average girl from Texas, but her sister has always been in some shit and because of this Tula is used to bailing out her sister. In an attempt to bail Tula out of disaster, she is captured and brutally assulated and held in prison. This prison is ran by a notorious cartel leader who is still successfully able to run guns and drugs despite being in prison. Tula ends up on his good side and in a way she ends up working with him. This curates a safe environment for her despite being in a male only prison.

Ricky and Martin are on the hunt to take down a ruthless sex trafficker. There is just one problem, they have to infiltrate into his safe guards in prison.. what better way to do this than to get close to not only the only female, but she seems to be the one who it the closest to him.

This book was crazy y'all and so hot!! Rick and Martin have been friends for such a long time and they have this undeniable sexual chemistry, that Matin has never caved to. Martin has a very traumatic past and keeps to himself, it was so good to see him confront those wrong doings and talk to someone about this.

There is DVP, DP!! HOT!! My little polyam bbs.

Devastate
I love this book. This author always introduces me to characters that are gritty and HOT!

Take
How this author makes me fall in love with bad guy I will never know. Tiago was a broken man, and the more you get to know him the more in love I fell. Kate truly was the one person for him. This read was dark and beautiful!

Manipulation
This series is killing me! Every book has damaged people who struggle to get over the abuse in their past. I loved that this book was a m/f/m. This one truly hit me hard. Martin, Ricky, and Tula were fighting for each other. Martin’s past was heartbreaking and very hard to read. Tula didn’t want to believe the human trafficking was true. This author has a way of writing that can truly make you cringe. It truly does make you think about those things. I truly got lost in this book.

From Evil contains books four through six in Pam Godwin’s Deliver series, and these books are more addictive than the first three. The first three books left me conflicted, but these three left me desperate to see how the series plays out.

Although each book in the series can be read as a standalone, the series is best read in order to understand the development of the characters and the way the storyline develops. With each book, more is added to the storyline, with the twists pulling you in deeper. Each book hooks, leaving you desperate for more, but books four and six are easily my favourites of the series (book six in particular).

Without a doubt, those who enjoyed the first three books need to dive into these three. The series will not be for everyone, but those that enjoyed the first books are sure to enjoy these.
