This book was a rollercoaster! Lots of twists and turns. I really liked how it showed journal entries from the serial killer himself, POV from a victim, and also the police investigation. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the beginning was a little slow, and I found some of the characters annoying. Overall, I really enjoyed this book.

Short chapters kept me wanting more so I flew through this book.  I wished Porter had been a little more fleshed out, but maybe we'll learn more about him in the next book. 
It was pretty gory at times and I liked the different timelines with the killer's diary and present day.  Everything was explained and revealed at the end with a lot of twists and turns along the way.
