I’d say there are three major twists in the book but unfortunately, two of them were pretty obvious (to me) right from the beginning. I’ll keep going with the series, but I don’t know that I’ll be recommending it to people.

there was a bit of what i call “marvel movie-esque” banter from the main cast that i could’ve gone without (as well as some dirty old man jokes that made me roll my eyes) but still an engaging, gruesome read. i’m looking forward to the next two books.

HIGH OCTANE read. Read in one sitting. Gets very dark 1/3 way into the book (very graphic; not for the faint of heart). Loved the plot twists in the book. Thrillers are my favorite genre, and I appreciated plot points I’ve never seen in a thriller before. Downloading book 2 now!
