there was a bit of what i call “marvel movie-esque” banter from the main cast that i could’ve gone without (as well as some dirty old man jokes that made me roll my eyes) but still an engaging, gruesome read. i’m looking forward to the next two books.

This was really good!! The plot twists were very clever, and the characters were interesting. The story was easy to follow and fast paced.
