Love a smart British man. But, girl, sometimes you are really dumb for being a Rhodes scholar.

Averaged up from 3.5. Solid romance book, with a slight twist. Very much me before you vibes, a little cheesy at times but to be expected with the poetry setting at Oxford

Kind of a slow story that feels for some reason like it’s been done before. Maybe not the exact setting or the same characters but pretty much a tale as old as time. Nothing made this story so phenomenal that it stood out from the other renditions of similar tropes. My favorite part of this whole story was probably actually the poems that were at the beginning of each chapter.
