I feel like I say this a lot, but every time I think I’ve read my favorite Christina Lauren book, their next book comes out and I have a new favorite. This book, right here, is definitely my new favorite!

The tropical setting on the private island was so decadent, I felt like I was there. The banter, as usual, was top notch. I absolutely freaking LOVED Anna. I want to be her best friend. And Liam. Oof πŸ₯΅. I loved him and Anna together. Ray Weston can eat a bag of dicks though. He’s probably my least favorite CLo character EVER. If you’re looking for a summer/beach read, I highly recommend this book!

I rarely think that a romance novel is perfect but this one is close. The ending of the story was a bit rushed, but everything else makes up for it. I went in blind when pre-ordering the book and was so glad that I did. While the authors, Christina and Lauren were able to touch upon serious topics such as complicated family dynamics, financial struggles, and abandonment issues they were also able to flawlessly combine it with humor and witty banter. The main character, Anna, is both strong and witty while the the other main character Liam, is initially serious and could be considered a β€œstick in the mud” he does develop emotionally throughout the story. The chemistry and dynamics between the characters of Anna and Liam worked very well together as well. To me, this is the perfect beach/vacation read. The story made me eager to see what would happen next and I was always excited to get back to the book. I’d love to see some sort of continuation of this story especially with Liam’s brother Jake! I highly recommend!
5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Paradise Problem is a good time. Who wouldn’t enjoy a marriage of convenience set on a private island? The beachy vibes were immaculate, brb booking my flight. I liked Liam and Anna. They were good for each other. Liam so desperately needed someone on his side (talk about family drama and manipulation). Despite being dropped into another world Anna is very sure of herself. I loved that she wasn’t constantly doubting herself. I wanted to see a little bit more emotional depth with the characters (and more spicy scenes if I’m being honest). This was a solid Christina Lauren romance. I would recommend this if you are looking for Crazy Rich Asians meets Pretty Woman/The Wedding Date.

Thank you to Edelweiss, Gallery Books, & Simon & Schuster for the opportunity to read and review this book before it's publication date! This in no way affected my review, opinions are my own.

Review: Another winner from Christina Lauren! (Which is good because the last one I read from them was Something Wilder and that was ... not it)

There was a bit of suspending disbelief to make this one work, but in a way that felt fun and escapist instead of ridiculous. I genuinely loved the relationship between the two MCs, and the fake dating trope worked really well here.

There's honestly not a whole lot to say other than I've read 13 of Christina Lauren's books (starting after the Beautiful Bastard series, so I can't speak for those) and I would solidly recommend this one!
