Anna believes she got divorced years prior, after a short-lived marriage to get access to family housing in college. But when her husband shows up asking for her help to save his inheritance, she agrees to travel to his sister’s wedding in Indonesia…as his happily married wife of five years.

My favorite CLo so far! I typically love their books, but they’ve absolutely hit it out of the park with this one. It’s laugh out loud funny (literally—I laughed out loud, for real) and super sweet and Anna and Liam have so much chemistry. Fake relationship tropes are usually my favorite and this one hit all the right notes for me. I was up until 2am reading because I literally could not stop.

I truly don’t have any more words besides saying if you like romances you should read this one. I think it will be one of the “it” books of summer, and it absolutely should be.

CW: Emotional abuse/manipulation/gaslighting; discussion of cancer; mentions of sexual harassment

Five years ago Anna Green entered into a marriage of convenience–one that she never imagined would go any further than the paper on which it was written. But when her supposed ex husband Liam Weston shows up at her apartment confessing that their marriage is very much still intact–and oh hey can she pretend to still be his wife at his sister's destination wedding on the East Asia archipelago, Anna pulls on her big-girl boots and says Let's Do It! Christina Lauren truly writes the absolute best rom-coms. You will truly giggle at the antics Anna and Liam find themselves in as they try and convince his family of their marriage and, of course, manage to fall in love with each other along the way. Soapy and heartfelt and full of TONS of family drama. A ton of fun!
